Cozy Home In Makarska

The swimming pool and patio areas gives wonderful views down to Makarska. The jacuzzi and games facilities are great. The host family live next door and are very welcoming and generous. There are walking trails passing close by the house which are fantastic for mini-hikes in the morning. There is a decent restaurant 100m away. Supermarket just before main road at the bottom of the long hill down, and larger ones on southern end of town. Beautiful area to stay. Recommend the ferry to Brac, and the scintillating if nervy drive up through Biokovo National Park.

Just to be aware, the accommodation comprises a spacious two bedroom apartment with kitchen and balcony, and downstairs there is a smaller one bedroom apartment with kitchen. It worked well with teenagers but could be problematic with younger children. Also be aware that the village is 300m altitude, so although only 2km from beach and a little further to Makarska, the hill is very steep and you will need your own transport. We felt the positives of the accommoodation more than compensated for these aspects.
