Nirwana Hometel Jaipur- A Sarovar Hotel

The staff were very supportive and let me check in early. The facilities were all very good.

The hotel is very welcoming and cozy. The staff is beyond helpful and kind. Everyone from the front desk workers to the restaurant/bar workers were exceptionally kind and helpful. Given how chaotic Jaipur can be, the hotel was a nice oasis to return to. The air conditioning works well. The rooms have a lot of thoughtful space and design worked into them. The rooftop bar/restaurant was great!

The hand soap bottle in the bathroom had a dislodged pump and a black hair attached to it. I simply used the shower body wash whenever I needed to wash my hands and never looked at the bottle again. The room attendant staff was overbearing. Even when I put a “do not disturb” sign on my door to not be woken up by room service, they still rang the bell to wake me up before quickly walking away. The check-out time is clearly stated as 12, but the second that the clock turned 11 the front desk started calling me to tell me it was check out time. When I went downstairs to check out, they asked me to wait so that their housecleaning crew could check the room and make sure I didn’t consume any of the snacks or water bottles they leave on offer in the room so that they could charge me for it. I’ve never been told to wait while a staff checks the room when trying to check out of a hotel before, and it felt like a very cheap trick. The WiFi quit working one night, but was promptly fixed. The shower would fill up with water and cover my feet as I showered, not draining properly.

room size for two people is a bit of concern.

The staff was mostly good and helpful, and the facilities were decent for the hotel placement.

The food was horrible, and the chef did not take feedback seriously.
