Apartments Katarina 2

A very kind host (Maja) welcomed us warmly. The apartment was impeccably clean, and equipped with everything one needs. The view from the balcony is worth a million dollars! This is a wonderful place to stay in if you enjoy hiking, and value tranquility. The beaches are also easily accessible from here.

Host are very friendly, easy going couple, decent place with wonderful views( both seaside and mountains) . Despite steep climb to the apartment from the town I do have enjoyed staying there. Close to the center of Makarska and its beaches, town center, shops.

Mosquito's or other insects but I assume early September they are attacking everywhere in there.

This was our first visit to Сroatia and thanks to the hostess Maja our impressions were the most pleasant. She met us at the station and immediately showed us the city. She showed us everything we needed in the apartment: a washing machine, towels, detergents and other household items, as we were going to stay for a long time Our apartment had everything we needed: a small kitchen, refrigerator, bathroom and balcony... Balcony with stunning views of the mountains and the sea. If you are looking for where to stay in Makarska then Villa Katarina is a great option. Just rent a car or a scooter, as the ascend to the house is rather steep ;)

The bed was not really comfortable and wery loud. It's not something that can stop you from staying in this great place, but still... with a good bed the note would be 11/10 ;)
