One of the best B&Bs we have stayed in. Exceptionally comfortable and very quiet. Everywhere was decorated with classic style and taste. Service was impeccable and the owner is charming and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Classic continental. The weather was appalling and that restricted what we could do so we have vowed to return.

I thought the doors were a little flimsy but the heavy curtain behind was helpful.

I liked the sense of staying in an elegant, historic house in this elegant, historic city. The breakfast was exceptional and the host was interesting to chat with and welcoming.
It was a little bit fusty and the bed was soft for our taste, but perhaps just right for others. Guests should be aware that there are a lot of stairs to haul the luggage up—not a problem for us but could be for some.
