An unexpectedly gracious hotel in a small town

The breakfast was satisfactory but with little variety. The fresh papayas were great. The grounds and pool were absolutely lovely. The interior had many rooms for general gathering that were furnished in a lovely elegant manner - very open and inviting.

As a North American, I was worried about drinking the water in a small town in Brazil - also worried about brushing my teeth in it. The hotel I was at previously gave complimentary bottled water each day to take care of needs like this. It wouldn't cost much to add that to the package at La Ponsa. I was never sure whether we were allowed to flush toilet paper in the bathrooms. Clearer bathroom signage would be appreciated.

Facilities: swimming pool, sauna, gym and game room are too old. All facilities need maintenance; Staff in the reception need better training; Bathroom with bad smell.

Awesome for family with kids / easy access to Penedo

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating: air conditioning was not working properly and he upgraded us to a more spacious and comfortable room; the breakfast was very good, the premises very enjoyable and it was not too far to drive to Penedo

The only thing I didn’t care but it’s a small fix: the microwave available for the guests was not in a good shape: the whole top inside was corroded.

O hotel é bonito, porém antigo com janelas do banheiro apodrecendo. As instalações são grandes. Mas o hotel de maneira geral precisa de reformas porque tem muito potencial. O café da manhã é simples. Os mesmos bolos estiveram na mesa por três dias. O acesso ao hotel é por uma região de baixa renda e enchentes ( isso assusta um pouco). Além disso no 1o dia identifiquei bedbuggys ( foto anexa)nas camas e ar condicionados sujos.

Atenção viajantes, pois te cobram muito antes de se hospedarem.

Fica bem pertinho do centro da cidade, dá para ir a pé. Hotel bem bonito e o café da manhã estava simples, mas supriu nossas necessidades. Fiquei com vontade de voltar lá no verão para usufruir da área externa: piscina, jardim, etc.

Me hospedo em hotéis que reservo pelo booking há anos. Todos me cobram AO CHEGAR no hotel, inclusive dão opção de dividir o pagamento no cartão, mas este foi o 1° que COBROU AS DIÁRIAS todas de uma vez, com mais de 15 dias de antecedência no meu cartão. Queria saber para que tanta pressa?

No contexto geral o hotel é bastante agradável. Indicaria e voltaria com certeza (com ressalvas).

A localização do Hotel é ótima! Lugar tranquilo e aconchegante, próximo do centro da cidade, mas afastado o suficiente pra se ouvir apenas barulhos da natureza. Limpeza muito boa do quarto, banheiro com ducha forte e quente, A cama poderia ser mais confortável, mas serviu pra descansar por 2 dias. A cadeira do quarto poderia ser mais confortável, pra se trabalhar sentado por longos períodos começa a incomodar as costas. Pelo menos tem um estofado pra sentar. O ambiente externo ao quarto é repleto de comodidades, com diversos lugares pra ficar e relaxar. Ambiente com uma natureza preservada e bem cuidado no jardim e gramado.

O Wi-fi é péssimo! Atrapalhou bastante pra trabalhar e pra assistir a TV, cuja maior parte dos canais funciona com a internet. Como o sinal cai a todo momento, fica impossível assistir a um filme ou programação mais demorada. A velocidade é boa até, contudo pelas caídas recorrentes vc acaba ficando impaciente!

Do quarto, da área externa, que é bem ampla e com muito verde, do café da manhã que é bem variado e da tranquilidade do local.

Somente o ar condicionado, que por ser mais antigo faz um pouco de barulho, mas nada muito exagerado.
