I liked the fact it has a kitchen, even though I did not cook

The distance is far but manageable and actually enjoyable if you know how to ride the public e-scooters, as it takes around 10 minutes to get to the center of town and the ride is a joy, otherwise it might take you hours on foot and 30mins by bus.

Good value place for self-catering easily accessible by public transport.

Responsive staff to help with check in, clear instructions provided about facilities and their use in the property, good shower, cooking facilities available in room with some basic utensils and a good fridge, and fan provided which was very important at this time of year. It was also quite peaceful which helped with sleep at night.

There could maybe have been more utensils (a cafetière would have been lovely) but we managed. Signage is a bit worn down on way into the apartment block so we were slightly confused about whether we were still heading in the right direction to reach it (but found our way in the end).

Good size room. Manageable for a cheaper alternative in Marseille, but would recommend spending a little more to stay elsewhere if the budget allows.

There is no reception when checking in on a Sunday and the pre-arrival process because of this was a bit clunky (including needing to send credit card details and having a 70€ hold placed on the card). Not in the best area of the city, although the nearby tram is convenient. Was very hot at night with no air conditioning. One person living in the building asked if I could spare some change in the lobby.

Very nice and comfortable stay at City Residence!

The rooms are very comfortable and clean. They are fully equipped (kitchenette, private bathroom). There are vending machines in the hotel which actually have good coffee and snacks!

It's a bit far from the city center but of course, very worth for the price! Nonetheless, there's a tram stop nearby (5-6 minutes by foot) that reaches the city center in 15 min!

A useful address!

Spacious, clean and confortable studio. Quite quiet, easy parking, not far from city centre by car or public transport.

A very humdrum location, bordering on the railway and slightly run-down business zone.

the room and the bathroom are spacious the kitchen was well equipped the staff was friendly

there was smoke in the corridor. the parking was not included in the price, you have to pay 5 euros per night to park your car in the underground parking, or for free outside if you are lucky enough to find a spot.

Great stay

The zone was very quiet. Very close to public transportation. The room met the expectations and was great for the price that was paid.

There was a 70€ deposit that wasn't specified in the description of the stay. The information was sent after I already had booked the room. I of course got the deposit back (after 30 days), but it would have been nice to know beforehand.

perfect utilitarian place, no muss, no fuss, convenient, good value for money

the kitchenette was super, it had a kettle, a hotplate, dishes and cutlery, all one would need. the bed was comfy and the room spacious

Good stay friendly staff

Staff was super friendly. My boyfriend could not find his passport at the airport and my phone would not be able to call French number so I sent them an email asking. He found it after a while but they replied me in 10 mins! The place is not too far from a tram station. I think 10 mins walk, and a 5 minutes walk from the bus stop. Easy to check in and out. There as a stove and a fridge in the room you can use.

It was really hot at night. There was no aircon and even we open the window it was really hot. I had to take a cold shower before I sleep. I dont recommend staying here if you are coming alone. When we went back to the place at night from the station, it was really dark. We went pass young teens group together smoking and talk really loud so I don't feel really safe. But if you're with someone then that should be fine.

the employees were very nice and the confort was great.

the pots were not very clean and we couldn’t use the water heater because of that, but we had a coffee machine at the reception instead.
