We chose the Danieli for its proximity to the beach and it's in bridgeable vicinity to the old town, and it certainly delivered. Being able to borrow bicycles from the hotel to explore Caorle’s historic center was definitely a highlight of our trip. The hotel itself is greatly comfortable and kept very clean. We were particularly impressed by the language skills of the team; it was a relief to be able to switch between English and German effortlessly at the reception. The value for money is absolutely fair for the area. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and the staff were very, very attentive. It was only on the last day that a minor—and certainly unintentional—mishap seemed to occur.

If I had to point out one downside, it was only be a minor issue with the breakfast service: our last cappuccino tasted quite strongly of cleaning detergent, which was a pity as the rest of the breakfast was fine. I’m sure it was just an oversight, but worth noting for quality control.
