Good cycling base along the Avenue Verte

Helpful, relaxed and friendly front of house staff. Good secure bicycle storage shed.

We were soaking wet from cycling through a storm. It would have been better to have full control over the radiator in the room to dry our clothes out before continuing the next day.

The owner was very welcoming giving us a guide to where to go out for dinner whilst we stayed there. There was also a safe lock up for us to put a bikes in . Breakfast there was a good choice , I would highly recommend using the Hotel Moderne.

We were well looked after!

The warm welcome we received despite our late arrival (we were travelling on bicycles). The helpfulness and kindness shown to us (my grandson had a puncture). Cyclists are well catered for. Breakfast was good.

Everything you'd expect from a traditional 2 star hotel with the added benefit of cycle storage as we were on a cycle tour. The hotel was extremely quiet but that may have been because it was a Friday. The gentleman running the hotel was delightful - very helpful and explained everything clearly and slowly in French including suggestions of restaurants in town. Plenty of choice for breakfast.
