Hôtel de l'Ange

Schönes Zimmer mit einem grossen Bad. Sauber und gut ausgestattet.

Leider ist das Zimmer sehr Ringhörig. Die Türen der Nachbarzimmer knallen durch die Schließ Automatik leider ordentlich zu. Ebenso hört man die Gespräche der Geste auf dem Gang. Schade. Zudem hört man den lärm der Küche die einen Stock tiefer liegt und bei offenen Fenster den ganzen lärm in den Innenhof dringt.

Opvallend vriendelijk en hulpvaardig personeel, mooi besloten terras voor het hotel, prima restaurant. De charme van een lokaal hotel. Ontbijt netjes verzorgd en goed. Voldoende eigen parkeerruimte dichtbij.

Styling van de badkamer iets gedateerd maar verder prima in orde. Hoort bij de charme.

Bed was very comfortable. The place is very authentic. Thr house is old, you can feel some history bihind it. There are several places to make a degustation of wine. But unfortunately they were all closed as we came on state holiday days.

The price is too high for this hotel. It's too far away from the railwaystations Turckheim. For us it was not big problem, as we like to walk, but It's a long way and even with a small luggage would be very hard to walk there. The breakfast was not included in the price!! And for 13,50€ per person the breakfast was really very poor. The total price of 106€ is definitely too high for what they offer. As we arrived on weekend and everything was closed, no shops around and we couldn't even buy water. The host sold us a small bottle of water for 2€. To have a dinner it was also a problem. There are only few restaurants in this small place and they all were closed. So we came bak to our hotel, but it was not possible to have a dinner , as you have to make a reservation in advance. So we suggested that we could sit ouside (as there are a lot of tables outside), they said "no, it can start raining". Then we just asked some wine and the plate of cheese, first they also said "no possible", but then the woman from the reseption (I guess it was a owner) solved it and we got the bottle of wine and plate of cheese (the price was 40€ ,also is not relevant for the 2☆ service). I would not recommend this hotel. For such price it is possible to find some better places.
