Vikendica na jezeru

The cottage was rustic but pleasant. It was not fancy but it was clean, everything worked, there was plenty of space, and it was close enough to town to easily get to the market, a bakery, a bank, etc. The hosts met us at the agreed time, showed us around, and made sure we were settled before they left.

There were only small things that could have been improved. First, the shower was much more spacious than most we have encountered, and if there had been a wall mount for the hand-held sprayer it would have been a great shower. Second, the sheets on the beds weren't quite large enough so they came untucked during the night. Both of these things are minor, just the difference between "good" and "very good."

The place is spacious, complete and very private. The indoor fire place and kitchen are great! It is only 10 minutes by car from the big supermarket in Gacko and some 20 minutes to starting points for hiking Sutjeska so the location is super convenient. Also, Goran was super nice and helpful. Perhaps I'll come back next year if I'm in Bosnia again.

There's sometimes a bit of traffic noise from the road. The sleeping room on the garden side is more quiet than the other one.
