Corfu Town Stylish Twin Apartment

The town house was clean, beautifully designed and decorated with a lot of detail and love. It was a comfy place to feel at home with everything you needed. The host was warm and helpful, and overall we really enjoyed the accommodation.

It was a little noisy as we could hear the apartment above quite loudly at night… It probably wouldn’t affect all people though…we are quite noise sensitive!

The studio is right across the port and the neighborhood is charming. The place has space, it is very well decorated and the owner has great taste. It is comfortable. The beds, sheets etc.. are great. The kitchen is functional. It is a really nice place to stay for a family or 4 adults.

It is a bit noisy. The airport is nearby and the take off corridor is above the neighborhood so you hear a plane flying above every 30 min at rush hour time. Also you hear your neighbors, we had noisy ones the first days, quiet ones after. Overall the noise is highly manageable.

The apartment is well equipped and has a very tasteful interior. That’s why i chose it. The exterior is stylish as well, but we didn’t used it, because of the unbearable heat. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Her restaurant recommendation was probably the most busy restaurant in town, which was not possible to book in advance and always has one hour queue in front, but we were early birds and lucky, and it was worth it. So thank you for that. The mattress was very good, so the bed is very comfortable.

There are a view things I didn’t liked though. Some are possible to improve and some not. The walls for example don’t seem to have a proper insulation, you can hear everything in the other rented apartments and the other way around. If you sleep in the bedroom downstairs and have someone sleeping upstairs, you will feel like the ceiling will collapse if they just walk around! At least a WC on the main floor would be nice. The bathroom is unfortunately just upstairs and the stairs themselves are not for very convenient. There are enough empty walls downstairs to put at least a mirror. The price seems a bit unbalanced for the flaws and especially the area. The surrounding neighborhood is smelly and unclean. The sewage smelled everywhere and the cats leave their smell too.

A lovely, sparkling clean townhouse in a perfect location if you’ll be taking a ferry. The owner is an absolute delight. Loved that she met us in person, and she gave us so many helpful recommendations. Kitchen has all the necessary items. The beds were super comfortable! Recommend and would stay again.

The rooms are small, so not much room for suitcases and also no drawers for socks and underwear. It was tight for 3 people.
