Note that correos do not deliver bags even though it right-on the Camino.

The host, Mr Aldekoa (first name Sendoa) was very helpful. He speaks good English (as well as Spanish and Basque). He made our stay very comfortable. Good breakfast. The location is good for walkers and also as a last stop before the ferry at Bilbao/Santander (for Portsmouth).
The following did not put us off going back ... We found it difficult to find as our satnav showed what we thought was a road, but in fact it is a footpath along the route of an old trainline. I suggest looking very carefully at an online map before you go there and/or arriving in daylight.

The property has been recently renovated to a high standard. Its beautiful. We had breakfast which was really nicely done, well worth the money.
The owner is not on site so we had to wait when we arrived. This was probably our fault as we booked late and did not communicate as we were cycling so not a big problem. It’s a 10 minute walk into town and not much in the way of food available locally.
