Check-in/ check-out was quick & efficient as payment was made upfront. Charming new apartment off a main square.
Booked the Junior Suite and was upgraded by lovely Patrizia at Front Desk.
3 supermarkets within easy walking distance.
Overall, the apartment was well located, well-maintained, and well-stocked (with the minor exceptions mentioned).
Had to request milk for the Lavazza machine in the room (which Patrizia promptly provided).
Insufficient hangers for 2 people staying for 5 nights.
Water was also not provided for 2 days, and we had to self-service at Ambra Hotel front desk. Presumably, the service staff saw our large bottles of store-bought water n assumed we didn't need anymore. However, we drink loads of water, and it would also have been nice to come back to some chilled water in the fridge.
No kettle or tea option.

Couldn’t beat the location, directly off Piazza Garibaldi. Metres from Lake, ferries, shops and restaurants. The lady at check-in at the Ambra Hotel was so nice and helpful. Aircon worked well, washing machine well used - with supply of detergent- and it had a lift!
Obviously not the Italian way but we would’ve liked a tea towel, some milk for the tea and coffee supplies. A little cramped either side of the bed, particularly near wardrobe. But all in all a great stay.
