La terrazza sul Duomo B&B

Tolle Lage am Rande der Altstadt Salernos - Massimo war immer erreichbar und ansprechbar und seine Restaurantempfehlungen vielseitig umfassend. Modernes, sauberes und ruhiges Zimmer - ansprechender Gemeinschaftsraum / Küche mit allem Notwendigen. Problemloser Check-in und Check-out. Gutschein für ein italienisches Frühstück nebenan in einer hervorragenden Pastisserie, die Grüße an die eigene Waage hinterlässt. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt, würden hier immer wieder einchecken und hatten von Salerno aus per Bus und Schiff die Amalfiküste besucht. Geparkt in der Nähe am alten Äquadukt ohne Probleme - privat, bewacht, nicht kostenlos, aber unkompliziert.

Ein Aufzug wäre bei viel Gepäck hilfreich, aber baulich nicht machbar -Vorsicht, die Unterkunft liegt in der ZTL, leicht übersehbar

Massimo the host is friendly, speaks good English and replies promptly to messages. The property is very clean and modern and fairly centrally located - about a 30 minute walk to the ferry terminal (ferries to Amalfi coast villages) and bus stop (bus to Amalfi coast villages) and the train station. The free breakfast from the patisserie next door (coffee or tea and a pastry) was yum.

Nothing for us but there are 70 stairs (we counted them) and no lift.

This was such a great place. We were sorry we had only one night. The room was huge( we had 4 people) with a beautiful view and rooftop terrace. We arrived earlier than expected and Massimo met us in 10 minutes and let us check in early. We were offered water immediately and had access to a coffee machine. The location was great so many bars and restaurants to choose from. Breakfast was delicious too. I would definitely book the Duomo B&B again if we come back to Salerno and would highly recommend!!

The location is wonderfull, nice and clean rooms, silent aircon, great roof terrace with great views.

The only downside to this B&B was the owner, who didnt speak english very well making the communication with him quite difficult. We had quite a lot of questions upon arrival about Amalfi, Pompeii ect. but in the end, we had to find out ourselfs. The few times we saw him he seemed like he was in a rush and he wasnt very welcomming or helpful. Upon check out we neither saw him or heard from him. A text or something from him with intructions for the keys or a "nice to meet you/hope you had a great stay" would have been nice. Because he was so abscent, our stay felt more like an Air B&B and a normal B&B stay with a host.
