Disappointing

Area around the hotel was very run down. 4 identical buildings beside the hotel were abandoned, broken windows, covered in graffiti, lots of broken glass outside these buildings and the hotel itself. The hotel is certainly not 4*. The corridors leading to the rooms had very stained carpeting, floor and skirting was water stained outside the bathroom, rooms were too cold for my liking but thermostat was locked off. The restaurant was far too fancy and expensive to take children (veal, octopus, etc) but there’s nothing round about easily accessible unless you are driving. Closest metro was 25 minute walk which I knew before going but you need to walk through some very dilapidated areas to get there.

Stay closer in Milan

Room was clean, cleaning staff were lovely.. The lad who was on reception at night, was very, very helpful

Well the Spa, is an extra cost which was not advertised on the site. And it says shuttle service, but this was from the hotel to the nearest metro only AND it had to be booked and sadly wasn't reliable. For example we booked 08.30 service and we didn't leave to 09.00. But I think this was because the reception staff didn't ring the driver (despite the driver having our booking on his phone). When I asked them where he was, they said that they would ring him now (why didn't they do this earlier).The hotel bar was closed, couldn't access it at all. And it is difficult getting back from Milan. Milan was lovely, but taxis were difficult to get back in the night. I will return to Milan but advice is, stay closer into the town.

The hotel just made my whole experience in Milan bad!

the hotel failed to provide me with safety and a good environment. The issue was that one of the staff members contacted me through my private phone number which I never gave him in any way or form even though he tried multiple times, and I politely declined each time. So I got to know that he accessed through the data that is kept which he was able to get into easily. The manager at the time offered breakfast as compensation which it felt like an insult when I was trying to get him to understand how uncomfortable that is. I don’t know about Italy but in Sweden such action is a ground for suspension until an appropriate action was placed for such behavior . Honestly, on the last when I was leaving I saw the staff working there and tried talking me again as if he done nothing. I emailed them about it and not even a single word was sent back to me. It’s unfortunate that women has to always suffer because some men can’t understand but it falls on the hotel to provide their guests with safety and complete anonymity for their privacy.

Great room, terrible location, awful food

Staff we mostly polite and attentive which was fantastic. The room was a good size and of a very good quality. Travel - they have a shuttle which was brilliant

The food was awful, I asked for this meat steak thing… what they gave me was undercooked and when I asked to cook it again they seemed to give me a microwaved version which tasted like rubber. The restaurant staff - our dinner server was inattentive. I think she was distracted by a child who has sitting playing a video game. However we felt rude calling her to help with our orders. Location - middle of no where

Shuttle bus service to the Metro was helpful

Upon arrival I was informed I would have to place a €50 deposit for each nights stay, the photos of the pool and in all honesty the external of the hotel were misleading, the roof at the pool was leaking, there were dead flies in the pool and it wasn't very sanitary. In our room, the shower was clogged initially and there was limescale on the shower head which affected the flow of water, the air conditioning did not work in the room. The elevators seemed to re route whenever you were on it, when we we going to the leisure center it took 5 minutes to get there as the elevator kept going to different floors (We were on the 12th floor, I believe the leisure center was the 13th floor.

awful experience, will never be back

nothing at all - claimed to be ‘city centre’ but a 25 min taxi out of the city.

lied to by staff upon arrival - supposedly paid for my 3 night stay upon arrival. only to be told I owed for 1 night when I was checking out. atrocious service. only 1 usable plug socket in your room. staff incredibly unfriendly , except for the bar man (older gentleman) who was great. no storage space for clothing at all in the room. walls are extremely thin and beds are very creaky and noisy.

There was a good choice at breakfarst. The room was was nice, the bathroom was nice with a big shower, but the shower heads need to be descailled. I did not use the pool.

There was a lack of parking out side reception.

Nice hotel and Good breakfast

I like the place, it has a posh ambiance. It is clean, and the receptionists are nice, they gave us water when we arrived and when we check out. They are very helpful, the breakfast is good too. It has a pool and gym...the pool is cold but I like it...just okay for me but my husband said it is too cold for him, so I didn't stay longer. Also another good thing is that they offer a free shuttle to bring you to the metro station.

The place itself is good, just the location is a problem if you don't bring your car and since we didn't bring a car, it was a problem to us going there, I didn't expect that going there, we have to walk far with our luggage and we needed to pass a very dark tunnel, so please if you are a woman and you are alone, take a taxi to go there...also just recommendation to check the drainage from time to time because in our room, it didn't work well, we spent time unclogging it, so we can take a shower well without the water overflowing to our bedroom from the shower. That's it but overall, it was ok, they offer free shuttle going to the metro station when you check out, just have to book it.

Location is terrible. Room was worn out. Staff was lieing about broken car and left us without an agreed transfer to hotel in metro station at night. It was indicated in booking description that the room has a bath - but it wasn't. Toilet water button was broken and the water was running all the time, unless you "play" with the button for 5 min. to find a right spot to stop the water.

Great value for money

The room was really gorgeous, the bathroom in particular. The bed was ridiculously comfy, most likely the best nights' sleep I've ever gotten. The pool was also nice and warm, every time I went it was completely empty or only had one other person in. I also appreciated the fact the hotel room was cleaned daily as not all hotels over this service, I jus really like coming back to a made bed! And finally, the hotel also offer a free hourly shuttle service to the nearest metro station!

The breakfast selection definitely could've been better, particular the amount of hot foods, only eggs and bacon were on offer. Also the dinner menu did not have a vast selection of options.
