Walk to Town 41B Alpine Chalet is a self-contained studio and bedroom apartment on Lomond Crescent, Queenstown, with stunning lake and mountain views, contemporary finishes, and direct access to the Ben Lomond walking and mountain biking trail from the front door. Sleeping up to four guests, it suits couples, two friends travelling together, or a small family looking for a modern, well-located Queenstown base at an accessible price point.
The layout is open plan and works well for the space. One private enclosed queen bedroom provides a proper sleep space, while the living area includes a second queen bed for additional guests. Both beds are made up with crisp white linen and electric blankets — a detail that matters in Queenstown where evenings turn cold quickly regardless of the season. The kitchenette is well equipped for light self-catering, with a microwave, fridge freezer, kettle, and toaster making breakfast preparation easy before heading out for the day. We stayed at 41B for two weeks and felt right at home immediately. The property was clean, comfortable, and incredibly welcoming, it truly had everything we needed for a long-term stay. The location is unbeatable, it’s so close to town that we didn't need a car to access local spots. Mike was a fantastic host and was super responsive to any questions we had. We honestly didn't want to leave! Highly recommend.

Good stay. Beautiful property, nice location that is quiet and walkable to everything in Queenstown. Pretty loud with the upstairs neighbors, so if your sleep schedules don't align could be an issue.

This property is lovely but the driveway is not for the faint hearted driving or walking so not suited to older or low mobility people.
Whilst there is a kitchenette there is no hot plate only a small slow cooker and a sandwich press.
The lounge is lumpy and the bed in the main (enclosed) bedroom is not as nice as the one that is in the open area adjacent the kitchen.
It’s also a way out of town so you would preferably have a hire/car.
Otherwise a nice modern unit with a great view although partially obstructed by a hedge I wanted to hack down but didn’t
