Breakfast was fine. The late check-in the night also was good. Plenty of parking nearby. A good option for visiting Cologne without the hustle and bustle of Cologne itself. Plenty of green spaces nearby to walk the dog.
I booked the hotel because it was reasonably priced and suited me for the night. However, I booked it primarily through booking.com as it accommodates dogs. Admittedly I did not read the small print. However, I was a little surprised at the extra cost of Euro 15 per night for a dog.

Quiet and free parking.
We ordered two 25sq meter rooms and got two 20sq meter rooms. The receptionist told us 25 Sq meter rooms won't be available for several days and said isolently that this was our order.
The next morning we claimed again and got the right rooms.
Shortly after checkout I noticed that my visa card was charged on extra room! I wrote to them again and again and they did not answer for two days. Later they answered that they checked and authorized the extra charge. They even did not read my explanations. Only after my sixth mail when I wrote: shame on you, they corrected the charge, with no apology!
