Vila Kaci

We needed to somewhere stay near Tirana airport for one night (flight early the next morning) and Vila Kaci in Durrës was ideal. The owner, Eddie, and his father immediately made us feel welcome and at home. They even prepared an early breaklast for us the following day. The location of Vila Kaci is ideal to explore the city of Durrës on foot, including the beach, the promenade, the Venetian Tower and the Roman amphitheatre. There are dozens of good restaurants and cafes about half a mile down the hill from Vila Kaci. The hilltop location is stunning, with views from the rooftop bar/restaurant over Durrës Bay - see photo. The double room was very reasonably priced @50 euros.

The room was a little cramped and small, but it was fine for just one night.

The staff were helpful and friendly. It was a perfect hotel in terms of cleanliness, food, breakfast, location, room, view, amenities, and all other features. The owners are wonderful people; I am so grateful to have met them. They treated us so well. Eddie and his wife were amazing people; I can definitely say it's a place everyone should visit at least once in their life. We want to come back here next year. Thank you for evetything
