Alsol Nogal- Adults Only

Great location close to the beach, shops, bars, restaurants and transport links. The apartment was clean and comfortable and the pool area is nice with a lovely outside covered seating area when the sun gets a bit too much.

The apartment was located within easy reach of the main town - only 10 minutes, or so, walk away. The accommodation was very clean, and cleaning took place four days a week, the towels were changed every 3 days and the sheets every 7 days. The garden areas, stairwells, corridors etc. were kept immaculate, and the pool area was kept in very good order. The pool was cleaned most days using a robotic cleaner. The apartment itself was relatively well maintained and reasonably large. The bedroom had 2 single beds with ample wardrobe and drawer space. The bathroom had a large shower, toilet and basin. The water was hot both night and day. The living area had a large settee, a single comfy chair, a small table, a dining table and four chairs, and a quite modern television. The kitchenette area (which I rarely used) had a kettle, double hob, fridge/freezer, coffee machine, and a waffle(?) type maker (I never use these so do not know what they actually are for). There was a large balcony overlooking the pool area. The balcony had two sunbeds, a large table and 2 chairs, a sun brolly, and a clothes drier. Overall, the property was perfect for me - a single traveller needing somewhere relatively comfortable to stay and without having to think about doing any serious cooking (I don't go on holiday to cook). The apartment was in a perfect location. A one minute walk lead you to the main Paseo Costa Canaria, a wide 'promenade' that skirts the main beaches. After 10 minutes you can be at the start of the main area that leads to the beaches, shops, restaurants etc.

I found one or two of the users in other apartments quite ignorant of others staying at Alsol Nogal. The adjoining walls are quite thin and so you could hear everything going on in other apartments. You can understand people moving furniture etc. during the daytime but, on at least 3 occasions, I had 'neighbours' dragging around furniture at 3 a.m. after coming back after a night on the town (usually from the Yumbo Centre from what I could hear). I, personally, do not like single beds and would have preferred a double bed (this is not a negative comment as the bed was reasonably comfortable - a double is just my preference).

It coud have been warm water in the shower. It was only cold but it was a lot of water in the WC. It was running everytime.
