A great experience throughout my stay. Highly recommend due its large rooms, tasty breakfast and proximity to the local hikes.
If anything, be aware that it’s about an hour from the Alishan Park entrance. And the bus to the park is often full so you’ll have to catch the next one or be prepared to stand for the entire trip to the park.

The place was super authentic, very charming with lots of well looked after animals. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with excellent AC. The woman and her daughter were both very kind and good communicators. We felt at home whilst having our own space. The food was some of the best I have had in Taiwan. The most incredible fresh mountain vegetables cooked to perfection. I wish we had stayed longer. What a wonderful place.

Our host is a warm and sincere host. We enjoyed the included breakfast (Asian style) and the traditional dinner (additional fee applies). You can also make an embossed leather key chain in their workshop (+$), just need to ask.
Soundproofing between rooms - we could hear our neighbours and likely vice versa but they were very considerate. There is no TV but there is good WiFi.

Unique room style
No heating in the room, host was pushy (even knocking at our door a few minutes before we had to be at breakfast), cold shower water, not good quality breakfast
