The BnB is located near Shizhuo about half-way up the mountain from Chiayi to Alishan. It was straightfoward to get the Fengqihu and to the National Park. The hostess and her husband are super hospitable and friendly. The room was spacious and was more than enough for our family of 5. We were surrounded by mountains, and there was a tea-plantation nearby. We took short walks around to soak it all in. The breakfast was also amazing. There are restaurants in Shizhuo and beyond, but you'd have to drive there. Having 4 dogs on the premise was a bonus! (our daughter really missed our dog back home so this was a treat for her).

Just a few minor things: 1) it is somewhat isolated (which is what we wanted), and you'd really need your own vehicle to get around. 2) we arrived by rental car, and Google maps got us around there fine, but there was no sign for the BnB so we weren't sure if we were at the right place. Fortunately the hostess came out and greeted us. 3) The BnB is cash only - I didn't realize until the owner told us...I double-checked the reservation and it was stated there. I had just missed it. We got cash from the 7-11 ATM in Shizhuo so it wasn't really a problem.

Amazing place in a magical location with super friendly hosts and a very nice breakfast to top it all off.
