Castel Sant Angelo's Harmonious Apartment

Excellent location near Vatican City, restaurants, metro. The apartment was quiet and very clean. The host was very helpful and responsive.

The shower is a little small. One member of our party is obese and couldn't fit in very well.

Great location - the most of the Rome attractions are in walking distance, a lot of good restourants nearby, small supermarkets as well. And the host was very responsive!

There were no very simple sings which are expected usually in the appartment - washing things (soap, shampoo), lack of toilet paper, no salt/paper/sugar. We bought this everything separately :) For 4 people there were only 2 blankets. There should also the instruction how to switch on the gas - it was not so obvious. Micro-owen stand inside was absent. TV- sets are totally useless - you can't see youtube or any other online content. The shower is tiny - you could barely close the door :).

Perfect location for the Vatican.

Quarter corner Of Slats in bed frame were broken. Space was filled with blankets and pillows and the broken slats to try and hold up the mattress at that end and successfully. Host then had the cheek to send me an email accusing me of being the one who broke it. Outrageous. She blamed the previous guest as responsible for why there was no ironing board. There were no plugs for the sinks. Despite at least two weeks of request for the street address and access arrangements, it took the host until the night before to advise - and that was only after a couple of days of constant chasing by Booking.com. There was no form of welcome pack of any kind. It appears to me that the owner of the apartment is interested only in making money (and plenty of it) and not interested at all in reinvesting any of it to upgrade the apartment and facilities (for example, to change from plastic dishware). It is a one bedroom apartment converted to a two bedroom space with no lounge. Loved the location but believe the apartment wasn’t worth the high cost.
