XARDÍN DE ESTRELAS ***

Impresionante el amor que se ha puesto en la decoración de la casa, tanto por Inés como por su hermano Fran que trabaja la madera. Son todo detalles. Compré en su taller una de las setas que decoran la casa y me la enviaron a Madrid. Magnífica atención por parte de Inés. Un lujazo.

De kamer was heel schoon en praktisch ingericht met een goed bed en douche. De tuin was een oase van rust, zodra je door de poort stapt kom je in een wereld van bonsaiboompjes, zelf gemaakte creatieve houten accessoires en met zorg verzorgde beplanting. Vanuit de lokatie ben je snel op de route van de Camino.

Comfortable bed, clean space, very close to everything in town. Hostess is very welcoming—one of the best I’ve encountered in over 4 weeks on the Camino—and will provide lots of information about the city. (She was also very helpful to me during the recent power outage). If your Spanish is limited (as mine is), she’s a master with Google translate. Property belonged to her grandparents—she and her siblings have done a beautiful renovation, with lots of custom woodwork done by one of her brothers. If a room is open, book it! You’ll be glad you did! One last heads up, as another review mentions, breakfast is at a cafe about two blocks away (follow the map she’ll give you as my phone sent me elsewhere). 😀

Nothing—great stay!

The inside of the property is stunning. It has been lovingly restored and decorated by the owners, who handmade the furniture and light fixtures. It is away from the noisy main area but very close so you get quiet and proximity to markets and restaurants. My favorite stay on the Camino.

There is no kitchen, water or food service so you will need to get your own from nearby. I filled up my water bottle at a restaurant.
