Atipico B&B

We spent 5 wonderful nights here, and it exceeded our expectations. The room had everything we needed, plus a lovely private balcony. It was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully organized, with a small fridge that already had bottles of water waiting for us on arrival - a small touch that made a great first impression. The air conditioning deserves a special mention too - it worked flawlessly the entire stay and kept the room cool and comfortable even during the peak of the summer heat, which made such a big difference to how well we slept and rested each night. The location is unbeatable - right in the heart of Bari’s old town, within walking distance of everything. What truly elevated this stay was the host. Communication was excellent from the very first message, well before we even arrived, with clear and precise check-in instructions that made the process completely stress-free. Throughout our stay, he continued to go above and beyond: one evening we opened a bottle of wine without a corkscrew, and he happily brought us one himself. Housekeeping came to clean the room one morning, but only after checking with us in advance and agreeing on a time that worked for us. The most memorable moment came on our last day, when we couldn’t figure out how to get a taxi to the airport. Even though the host was on vacation himself at the time, he took the time to arrange one for us through his app. That kind of dedication and genuine care for guests is something we rarely encounter. Spotless room, unbeatable location, and a host who made us feel truly taken care of from start to finish. We couldn’t recommend Atipico B&B more - a perfect base for exploring Bari!

The host made checking very easy allowing us to check at a convenient time for us. We didn’t have to wait for “checking time” as is usually the case. He gave us very clear directions on how to get there, which was very helpful since it was our first time in Bari. The room was clean and comfortable, just what we needed. A good experience.

It is located on a 2nd floor and the stairs were a little of an inconvenience for my husband because of his knee problem. Not a big deal for one night.

I think the listing is misleading, since it says the place highlights are parking, breakfast, and views. Street parking is the only option and it was not always easy to find nor was it free. Breakfast was never offered, and the view was only if the building directly across the alley. Additionally the bed was on the hard side.
