The location and views were amazing
The staff were incredible, even helping me with a couple unusual requests.
The only drawback was the facilities are a bit sparse. There were days I would have loved room service instead of having to go out to the local restaurants.

We really enjoyed our stay at Portico Del Paradiso! It is tucked away in Scala, which is within walking distance to Ravello. There's also a bus stop within walking distance that takes you anywhere you want to go on the Amalfi Coast. The staff is very friendly too, and we really appreciated when Flaviano picked us up at the bottom of the hill after a long travel rather than take another bus. Valentina, who served us breakfast, was also very friendly. Lastly, after a busy and crowded day in Amalfi or the other coastal towns, coming back to the quietness of Scala and Portico was a nice reprieve.

Fantastic location with a great view, very pleasant staff, nice and spacious room with great balcony and pleasant bathroom. The staff had great suggestions for day trips/hiking.
I wish the breakfast was a bit more varied and local - it was ok, but was a bit lacking for the price point of the room. A better coffee machine, more fruits and a bit more selection of items would have been great (e.g. local pastries other than cornetto).
