About this house rental
Elevate your mountain vacation in this newly updated and mountain-modern townhome, just a few minute's walk to the lifts and trails. After challenging yourself on the mountain, relax in front of the wood-burning fireplace, take a soak in the hot tub, or catch the sunset from the welcoming balcony. If gourmet cooking is on your radar, the brand new kitchen features oversized appliances and all of the cookware you would ever need. Both pleasantly-appointed bedrooms feature very comfortable beds and bedding, attached modern and clean bathrooms, and plenty of closet and drawer space. Open the creekside window in the master bedroom for added slumbering ambiance.
The local bus picks up and drops off just moments from the front door and comes every half hour, dropping you off at the base area, where the main ski lifts are, as well as many shops and restaurants. Also from the base are is where to pick up the bus to town, which is always worth visiting for its wealth of great dining, funky mountain vibe, and colorful buildings.
This property feels incredibly private, unlike most of the large complexes in the area. There are a total of just 11 units in the complex. There is a dedicated parking space in front of the townhome. Guests have only one guaranteed parking space. Additional paid parking is available in town and at the base area.

An absolutely perfect week at John’s home. I have never stayed in a cleaner VRBO or hotel for that matter. It was so comfortable and warm…literally and figuratively. Not only was the house beautifully designed, but there were heaters in every room and on every floor. So even though we were there for skiing, we were so cozy in the house. It was so close to the ski resort, that we were able to walk up and down as needed. The free busing system was so easy too, picking us up 50 feet from the front door of the condo, when we were in full ski gear and not wanting to walk. Our teenage daughters navigated it easily on their own, and we all enjoyed the freedom and flexibility that offered! We encountered some extra warm weather, so John recommended an amazing hike at the end of Gothic Road. And the house is just 2 hours away from Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, so we hit up that as well. Just a really excellent location all around! Would absolutely recommend you stay here and use it as a jumping off point for the entire area.

Stayed for a long weekend. Skiers said bus was easy to catch to the slopes, non-skiers found the space lovely to relax in.

Very comfortable and great location. Super quiet and very eclectic decor. Only one suggestion: get a small filtered coffee maker. Otherwise, perfect stay for us.
