Apartment Zermatt - Best Location

Asked for an early arrival-and got it.

Construction going on outside.

The location is brilliant, right by the train station, the Gornergracht train, and the start of the ski bus route (it is essential to be at the start of the bus route when Zermatt is busy). Despite its very central location, the apartment was quiet, which was the perfect mix for us!

The property was the perfect location .. Across the road from the train station, with supermarket as well as ski school and ski shops on the ground floor + restaurants close by ..7 Minutes walk from Sunnegga Station. Also the apartment was very comfortable with a well stocked kitchen and views of the Matterhorn on one side and the valley on the other side. I couldn’t have asked for more.

The location and how spacious it was.

The description clearly stated that was a sofa bed but the sofabed was broken and the host was unwilling to do anything about it. The towels were in a really bad state, frayed, old and stained and there not sufficient for a week. Despite the strict Swiss rules about waste disposal and recycling, the host offered no communication in this regard or sufficient bags and clear instructions on how to recycle. The shower in the hallway was defective and leaking. Despite contacting the host about issues and clarifications, there was no response. The view of the Matterhorn was obstructed by the constructions in front of the apartment.
