Kitchen resources were limited - only steak knives in cutlery and very limited choice of oven proof dishes . No welcome pack. A few small basics - water, tea, coffee and milk would have been appreciated. Bed linen in loft bedroom a bit worn out. Most of the outdoors cushions were spotted with bird poo.

Location was excellent, for walking. Parking was several blocks away. The layout was great for our family of 6. It was pleasantly decorated for Christmas, very cute. The kitchen was fairly well equipped, but we did have to ask for a few things, like something to bake in, otherwise the oven was useless. We enjoyed the upstairs patio, even though it was quite cool when we were there. The proximity to town was great- just a few blocks away. We liked using the newer pellet stove! What a great asset that is.

I hear the beds our grown children slept on were somewhat sagging. We struggled to keep the place from getting too damp in the air. Parking, was quite a ways. The appliances needed a few more instructions for us.

Excellent central location. The house was well equipped and the photos online were an accurate reflection of the accommodation. Silke, the host, was particularly helpful and gave the house keys to our taxi driver for our late arrival. She also gave us some great recommendations for restaurants.

There was some noise from the surrounding buildings which is understandable, but we were woken early every morning by mopeds which park near the house and set off as various times. This would not put me off recommending the property though.

Excellent house split over 3 floors with a small terrace on top floor (access via bedroom) just a few minutes from the centre of town and with a small but well stocked supermarket just 2 streets away (Aprop). House was very clean and kitchen was well equipped. Ground floor perfectly suited to family group with large dining table next to kitchen (open plan with counter). Good communication with host and no problems collecting keys, etc.

The trade off with being in the centre of Soller is the parking, which is 400m away at the cemetery. If you arrive there late afternoon it is often quite full (we were there for Easter week). And, of course, driving around the backstreets of Soller is an experience in itself - I wouldn't recommend driving past the property too often as Carrer de la Palma seemed to have 3 or 4 cars parked on it more or less permanently. But obviously, that is no fault of the property, just something for drivers to be prepared for :)
