Our stay at Akrorama Villa was fantastic. The house is in a wonderful location on a hill with a breathtaking view of the sea and the caldera as well. It’s spacious, beautifully furnished, and has everything you could possibly want. The pool and the large hot tub are perfect for swimming and relaxing. Also the Sunset View is great! The breakfast was also fantastic and delicious! Special mention must also go to Zenia, Dimitris, and the entire staff. They are super friendly, always available, helpful, and yet very respectful of privacy. It doesn’t get any better than this! We’d love to come back! Thank you so much!

This was one of the best places I have stayed in!! Zenia is an amazing host; she messaged us before arriving to check if we needed a car or to book excursions. Her restaurant recommendations were amazing. We stayed in the Anemos suite and it was perfect. The views were stunning and the place was very clean. I would say that the suite is very private however if you require complete privacy for example if you wear a headscarf I would recommend requesting one of the other suites at the back of the complex. I would definitely come back and would highly recommend this place for anyone travelling to Santorini.

We stayed 7 nights here and had an amazing holiday. Everything is perfect, from the location, to the room, to the amazing balcony. The view is the main star, and is perfectly reflected in the pictures. The breakfast is a great addition and was different everyday with various eggs, pastries, fruits and yoghurt, juice etc. The cleaning ladies also work very hard to keep the room fresh everyday. I also have to mention Zenia’s (the host) excellent hospitality! She will tell you everything you need to know about the island like cruises, car rental, massage, best dinner locations etc. she booked restaurants for us and car rental during our stay which was really appreciated. She even let us have a late checkout on the last day because our flight was late and our suite was unoccupied, which made our last day so much more enjoyable and was very kind.

The only negative is that the location is on top of a hill and it’s a steep walk up and down to nearby restaurants and shops, especially in the heat! Nevertheless, the hill is needed for the great view and I wouldn’t let this put you off. A number of the local restaurants do free pick up and drop off, which Zenia kindly booked for us, and I recommend utilising these. So overall it’s something to consider if you have mobility issues but it didn’t bother us much and we would still definitely return!
