Patina Vivera Estate

If you're looking for the perfect balance of comfort, location, and genuine hospitality while visiting Santorini, Patina Vivera Estate is the place to be. I stayed here for a holiday from April 16th to the 22nd, and it was hands down one of the best travel experiences I’ve had. The location is ideal — a short 15-minute walk to the town square of Pyrgos and only 15 to 20 minutes by car from other major towns across the island. You feel tucked away enough to relax, but close enough to explore with ease. What really sets this estate apart, though, is the hospitality. Bianca, our hostess, was beyond amazing. She checked in daily to make sure everything was perfect — from the continental breakfasts (which were incredibly generous and way beyond the typical American version) to making sure we knew about all the important Easter events happening on the island, including Good Friday (Big Friday) and Holy Week celebrations. As well as events on our itinerary, and places we should go. The staff — especially Eva and Ares — were phenomenal. They wore multiple hats during our stay, and honestly, you would’ve thought each role was their only one because of how well they executed everything. They were our guides, coordinators, and go-to contacts. Whether we had questions, needed suggestions, or help with planning activities, they were there — always professional, kind, and thoughtful. If I had to mention one minor downside, it would be the pool and hot tub temperatures but was not too bad.
