Location so relaxed and peaceful

No sink to wash the few basic crockery items Would have been nice to have had basic cooking facilities

Just wow what a beautiful spot and gorgeous accommodation

The location, for someone who appreciates solitude, is unmatched. It's simply heaven.The accommodation itself is amazing, it's a cave which opens up straight onto the sea which is just a few steps away. Cleanliness, the presence of hot water, the snacks that Anna, the owner, has laid out for the guests, an electric kettle, the silverware, garbage bags, soap, etc-all make for a convenient and immensely relaxing stay. All in all, it's awesome. I will come back there.

The property is beachfront and a very private get-away. We didn’t mind the trek down the beach with our suitcases to access it, or the remote location at all. The host provided a feee bottle of red wine and some other goodies. We ordered our food from the local restaurant and enjoyed it with the wine on our private beachfront patio.

The biggest problem was the AC - it simply did not blow COLD air. This cave suite is long and narrow with the bed tucked into the far back end of it. The AC unit was near the door. We suffered all night long with thick humid air and a feeling of being trapped and suffocating in a windowless airless room. By 3am we opened the one kitchen window despite being ground floor and no security. We left at 7am. The next morning the host just said they checked the unit and it was fine, but it very clearly did not blow COLD air, only circulated existing air. Other issues - the kettle would overheat and the water smelled and tasted like plastic. The shower and sink are seawater not freshwater! The main door had a locking issue from the inside - we got locked in for a bit and decided in an emergency we could escape via the window. The beach is very rocky and not easily swimmable. And - not the properties’ fault, but the bay in front was packed with 20 plus tourist catamarans that come to the bay in late afternoon to anchor and swim and eat dinner. So - it’s not really the private oasis that it first appears like!
