Fantastic location. In the historical centre, backing on to the campanile of the Duomo.
Near restaurants and an easy walk to buses and close to the interesting sites of Lecce.
Our host was very helpful and responsive.
The messazine on the first floor was charming.
Nicely decorated.
The damp smell was really strong.
Our host advised that it is due to the porus limestone, and just a part of staying in an old building in the historic centre. We kept the windows open, and also used the dehumidifer which did help.
The stairs up to the first floor wlth two additional beds were very steep - not for the very young - or old!
The bathroom was long and narrow. The end with the sink was good. The shower end was restricted.

We liked the location, centre of Lecce ideal, for walking around the old town, charming with many good cafés & restaurants.
on the last morning , tried to contact the host, to ask for a little more time before checking out, but impossible to speak to anyone.

Well, location is ok.
The flat was smelling bad. The shower was dirty. The coffee machine was not working properly. The wifi network was not working. I contacted twice the staff who did not answer. Really disappointed by the service.
