Absolutely one of the best stays we have experienced. Historical is an understatement. And the host, Nikko - simply the best. A must stay for anyone visiting Lecce.

Superb location at the very centre of Lecce with balconies over looking the main street. and the Campanile. Nikos is a wonderful host, booking a secure car space for us, getting ZTL access for our car so we could drop bags off at the door; collecting us at city gates to direct us through the tight maze of streets to hotel and doing the same again at the end of our stay. The large appartment is in an old, grand family house (one of 3 appartments). So if you only like completely modern this place is not for you. But if you like character you will not be disappointed. Modern bathroom. No cooking facilities but wealth of restaurants at your doorstep. Lift available but Nikos carried all our bags. Wide choice at breakfast and Nikos on hand to help with every query and problem. He made our stay so easy and had recommendations for great restaurants, launderettes, places to visit within Lecce and down to Leuca. We were exceptionally well looked after.
I’m sure we could have asked for, but 2 wine glasses in the room would have been useful
