Staff don't answer the phone -that is bigger issue:( but location is magical!!!!love it🎄

Good location,40 min drive from Rovaniemi nice cozy house ,30-40 min from ski resort,beautiful forest

Fireplace do not work only doing a lot of smoke!!!!staff is don't answer my phone call :( Bed sheet clean but old .." double bed " is 2 small beds next to each other.

Magical cottage - recommended!

- magical cottage for 6 people in a beautiful forest near river - sauna - many hiking trails nearby (within 1 hour by car) - rivers good for fishing - all essentials in good quality: comfortable beds, hot water, heating/air conditioning, good stove, dishes and utensils, fridge, microwave, fireplace and lots of wood included in the price, window shades - bed linen and towels must be ordered and paid for in advance - I will list the details that could be improved in the other section but despite the few negatives we had a great stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book the cottage again

- minor repairs around the cottage would be recommendable - mosquito nets in the windows, squeeky doors, door handles - there are no wardrobes in the rooms, only shelves and hooks in the common area - there is a lot of stuff the guests leave behind that make the cottage look disorganized - half-empty shampoos, etc. - also the things needed for cleaning could be stored somewhere to give more space to the guests (mop, buckets, vacuum cleaner) - shower not separated from sauna is very dark

We were there second time, this cottage is like a dream! Best location, we were lucky to see norhern lights, sauna is great, beds are comfortable, prepair enought food otherwise you have to drive a bit to closest market. Hope we have chance to come back again! Highly recomendet!

Breathtaking wooden cottage in the Lapish wilderness

Amazing log cottage in a beatiful forest, surrounded only by trees, river, snow and reindeers :) The house has a fireplace, a BBQ, full kitchen, sauna, plenty of radiators to help with warming the place. Very spaceous, quiet, romantic. The price also includes a good amount of firewood for the fireplace (we were wandering Rovaniemi all day long, so set the fireplace only in the evening and wood was plenty enough, but if you spend the whole days in the cottage and want to burn more wood, you can buy more from the cottage caretaker. I would definitely rent it again if I was going back to the area.

The shower handset didn't have a proper hook to hold it (the one that was there was busted and the handset would eventually fall out), so you would end up holding it by hand instead. Other than this - no complaints! A bit far from Rovaniemi - wasn't an issue for us as this was exactly what we were looking for, but you definitely need to have this into consideration when renting the cottage that a car is a must, as it is located 60 km north of Rovaniemi.

Lieu paisible et magique

Sommes partis à 2 couples. Endroit magnifique et spacieux, en adéquation totale avec la nature. Chalet au milieu de la forêt au pied d'une rivière. Je recommande vraiment ce petit coin de paradis où il fait bon vivre. Accueil chaleureux. Nous n'avons qu'une hâte, y retourner de nouveau. Suffisamment de bois pour le sauna et la cheminée. Je recommande à tous ceux qui veulent se reconnecter avec la nature le temps d'une semaine magique et inoubliable
