Ok for a 2 night stay

The location is convenient. Within walking distance from bus station, super market, swimming place and castle. Spacious apartment. Able to wash clothes using the washing machine.

Not very clean. Not easy to communicate with the lady who manages the apartment as she doesn't speak a word of English.

Host forgot we were coming, had to wait over an hour to even return a call (didn't even apologize). Not sure how this place has such a high rating. Most of the complaints that you will see in other reviews are correct - super old bathroom, uncomfortable pillows, no wifi. Not worth for the price that you are paying.

The location is good, the beds comfortable.

I booked two rooms 7 months in advance. When we arrived only one room was prepared. The hosts asked why my mother and I couldn't share a bed before reluctantly preparing the second room. They then demanded €250 instead of the €171 contracted through Booking.com and threatened to throw us out, on to the street. My mother was distraught and in tears at this point so I eventually agreed to pay €200. I immediately contacted Booking.com about this and they advised me to get a receipt for the money paid. The hosts, however, in breach of local law, refused to give us a receipt. As if all that wasn't bad enough, the flat was lacking basic supplies such as toilet paper and cleaning products. The host insisted on meeting us on the day of our departure but failed to turn up at the agreed time. He knew that we had to leave to catch our flight, so I can only assume he was happy with the situation as it was. Therefore, I am writing this to warn others to avoid this property.

Dzīvoklis ar ļoti labu lokāciju.

Naktsmītnes lokācija ir ļoti laba. Dzīvoklis bija tīrs un kārtīgs.

Ērtāk būtu, ja būtu ieviesta kodu atslēga, lai tiktu naktsmītnē. Tā kā mēs ceļojām trijatā, prasītos, lai būtu pieejamas trīs atsevišķas segas, jo ne visi ceļo pāros. :). Virtuvītē prasās pēc remonta.

Entrada en mal estado, pero piso bien cuidado

Buena ubicación Piso bien cuidado y arreglado. Limpio y espacioso, tenía un par de juegos y otros passatiempos todo y que no pudimos usarlos ya que solo nos quedamos una noche. Pedimos entrar más tarde y se nos aprobó sin problema.

Problemas de comunicación con la dueña, no habla ni gota de inglés, solo lituano O Russo. Tuvimos que llamar al llegar y no sabíamos si venía o no...no entendimos nada...por suerte vino en unos minutos. Faltavan las toallas, xo no fue un gran problema, nosotros llevamos.

Einfache nette Unterkunft, aber man sollte litauisch, russisch oder polnisch sprechen

Perfekte Lage mitten in Trakai. Einfache Unterkunft die alles hatte, was man für eine Nacht braucht. Der inkludierte Parkplatz ist auch sehr praktisch.

Wir mussten eine halbe Stunde vor unserer Ankunft anrufen, eine Nachricht auf Booking hat nicht gereicht. Leider war es nicht möglich die Ankunftszeit am Telefon zu kommunizieren, weil wir kein litauisch, russisch oder polnisch sprechen. Selbst mit Google Übersetzer war es sehr schwer, weil wir die Fragen bzw. Worte einfach nicht verstanden haben. Zu unserer Ankunftszeit war dann verlässlich jemand vor Ort. Mit Händen und Füssen war es leichter vor Ort persönlich zu kommunizieren. Weiters haben wir die Info bekommen den Schlüssel beim Checkout ein den Postkasten zu werfen. Trotzdem haben wir später am Tag wieder einen Anruf bekommen. Gleiches Problem. Wir haben nicht verstanden was man noch von uns wolllte. Auf die Nachfrage per SMS und aif Booking kam keine Antwort.
