Bad and slow wifi, only 1 pillow which was super soft, thus making it totally useless as it feels like there is no pillow at all, weird gap between the start of the mattress and the bad frame, most of the time TV had bad signal, making it impossible to watch TV and sometimes it did not acquire any signal to even show something on TV, one window did not close easily, had to come up with a solution to close it, no hot water from the sink in the morning.

Lovely maintained, room with great facilities. Good location to train to leave luggage. Great ventilation. View of lake. Comfy be. No train noise.

Traffic noise except for short duration overnight. A bedside table & night light by bed.

The room itself is very new, clean and modern. The host was excellent, very nice and very helpful. The accommodation is located a beautiful 40 min walk along the lake to the castle. It was nice for one night. We didn't have the best weather, but would have been lovely to enjoy some time on the dock and in the water.

The photos provided on booking.com gave me a different impression on how the layout of both the house and property was vs reality. I had booked the lake view, and based on the photos, I was expecting a balcony with 2 chairs and a lake view. But unfortunately the view was a very minimal and through a smaller window in the room. Based on the description, I was not expecting other people to be sharing the top floor, we had a private room but there were two apartments on the top floor. I was also not expecting there to be another house in between the rental house and the lake, so if you did take a chair out onto the shared balcony you would have a view of the other house vs the lake. The two houses share the water front, and you are only a few metres away from it. Finally other reviews stated that you can not hear the main road, but you can, it's not too bad, but you can definitely hear it. I just want to help future bookers, and I would still recommend it, it's a very beautiful little place, but I just wished the photos better represented what I had purchased.

Great place. Excellent host. Very convenient if coming by train as train station near and there are few taxis in Trakai. No train noise despite being near the train station. Beautiful room.

The owner was here to welcome us and was very kind to keep our stuff during the day after check-out.

The gap between the bathroom door and the wall was a little uncomfortable...

Cleanliness, location

The scenery is wonderful. Easy to jump into water on the dock just outside the yard. Having air condition in hot summer day is a big plus!

Very good location next to the train station and the lake. Food store is within 5 minutes walking distance. Everything in apartment is new and very comfortable and owners are very polite and friendly.
