Villa Sweet Home Marija With Heated Pool

Zana met us at the property to show us around. She let us check in early as there was no other party leaving that day. We wanted a large villa with swimming pool and off street parking close to the sea and shops. Villa Maria overdelivered on everything. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs (2 doubles and 1 twin) with a very big bathroom. All with air-con. Downstairs there is a double bedroom and separate bathroom and wc. No air con in this bedroom but it is on the cool side of the house and is well shaded. The kitchen is well equipped. There is another kitchen and dining table in the garden room. There is also another shower and toilet here. There is also another dining table and tables underneath the pergola. And there is a barbeque with charcoal and fire lighters provided. The swimming pool is great for cooling off - it has no shallow end. It is 5 minutes walk to the beach where you can rent loungers from Split Camping. There is plenty of shade if you need it on the first bay. If you go round the headland, you come into another bay which has very little shade. The beach is gravel not sand which does not stick to you when you're wet. The sea is lovely and clear and there is a diving board. There is a supermarket and bakery about 2 minutes walk away. There are another 2 supermarkets, bakery and chemist about 5 - 10 minutes walk away. There are plenty of restaurants and bars in Stobrec. Car parking is on site behind a big sliding gate - there is loads of room.

A very friendly villa owner . Always ready to help with deeds and advice. There were no problems. We're all absolutely thrilled with everything.
