Zante Calinica Hotel

We booked Zante Calinica Treehouse with the private pool and it was a dream. My husband and I were newlyweds and we were looking for a last-minute stay in Zakynthos - a place with privacy and relaxation after our wedding. This hotel was very private and had stunning views - perfect for what we were looking for. We booked before midnight and checked in the same night. The owner Dionisis was there at that time and helped us have a smooth check-in and check-out. Throughout our stay he was very helpful and the staff was very kind as well. We stayed at the treehouse for a week and we wish that we could have booked it for longer, but we sadly had to return home for work. This hotel is very clean and organized. Our package included free breakfast which was fresh and delicious. You could also order room service and it gets delivered within minutes. Our room got cleaned daily and fresh towel for both bath and the pool were changed every day. Parking was offered for free. We would definitely stay here in the future.

We stayed just this season was starting so I expect the hotel was quieter than in the high season. We were upgraded to a room with a small private pool which was lovely, although the water was very cold! Room was clean & comfortable with a small fridge which was great, so we could buy a few drinks from the supermarket and keep them in the room. Room was comfortable and cleaned and tidied as often as you wanted it to be. Lovely staff, excellent breakfast.

Perfectly happy with the hotel itself, but the location of our room meant that it was quite noisy with road traffic. The road next to the accommodation isn’t particularly big nor busy but there was a lot of construction traffic passing which made sitting outside a bit noisy. Nothing staff could do about it.

We booked a “superior” room but nothing at all about the room was superior. Most aspects of the room are very dated and look nothing like the majority of the photos for this hotel. Be very selective in your room choice.
