La Casa nel Castello

We loved the location in the old walled city. We walked to the Ostia Antica archeological park nearby and the picturesque castle is next door. We dined at a lovely restaurant and stopped at the beautiful new grocery store across the street for a few items before our flight. The apartment is small but perfectly curated. The owners left coffee and snacks for the morning. It is a very peaceful place. Luca helped us call a cab to the airport. It is a new favorite spot and we plan to return every time we come to RomeW

this is one of the most wonderful hotels i've ever stayed in. Family owned and hosts so kind, such attention to details, so helpful, fabulous room with amazing view, nothing was too much, delicious breakfast, location exceptional, clean, with elevator and a pool that looks very inviting. We didn't have time to try out the spa/pool, but will be back for sure. Thank you so much making our stay a wonderful stress free experience.

The quiet pedestrianised area is lovely, with a nearby restaurant. The apartment is compact but extremely well designed and very stylish. There's one large room, which contains the bed area and the sofa (which can also be a bed). The gorgeous bathroom has an excellent shower, and the kitchen is well-stocked with essentials. Communication with the host was good.

Exceptional stay from start to finish. A beautiful suite with comfortable bed, adorable and well-appointed living space and kitchenette, nice bathroom. Luca arranged an early check-in and a taxi ride to pick us up in the early morning for the airport. We were over the moon about this place and only wish we could have stayed for much, much longer. Great host - thank you, Luca - and phenomenal place to stay in the heart of historic Ostia Antica. We walked to the ruins from here and had a wonderful dinner followed by gelato in the village. Absolutely lovely!
