It was the perfect place to stay for a night before an early flight, but we could have stayed longer

Apartment is located close to the Centre and still quite.

Couple of things broken. We could not close the door of a bedroom due to blocked door handle. Curtain of the other bedroom fell down. We had no hot water on the second day.

Very tastefully furnished and excellent location, very close to beaches and to the pedestrian square of Ostia

Although the furniture is quite modern, the property lacks general attention to basic details, which would be taken for granted given the cost: no AC, only 1 power socket in 2nd bedroom (blocked by a wardrobe), no bathroom carpet or bin, broken shower hose which makes a mess to shower, no bidet, fused hair dryer

The town is amazing, quaint little sidewalk cafés, and a nice beach.

We did not have access to the elevator, and there was no air-conditioning. When we got to the room, it was 35°C, and never went under 30 Celsius.

Location and proximity to beach

Where do I start! The property is on the 2nd floor and has 50 steps up to it. There is a lift but the owner does not pay to use it. I was traveling with 2 x children and my elderly mother which made the steps very difficult. A lovely chap in the building helped with our luggage. The property advertises a sofa bed but I had to plead my case in order to get bedding for it. There is no air conditioning but fans were provided, however one of the bedrooms has no plug sockets so was too hot to sleep in. There were no cups or kettle provided in the kitchen and the rest of cutlery/crockery offering was very sparse. The owner was very slow at responding and pretty unhelpful. When I tried to get help getting to airport, I got a very terse ‘taxi’ response, which is easier said than done when you don’t speak Italian. The lock on the door to the apartment was very flimsy and I was worried about our valuables when we went out. We were very disappointed, particularly as we had travelled from Australia and taken my elderly mother away for a treat.

The apartment location is such amazing, well connected to transportation and a just few steps to the beach. The place is cozy, calm and lovely. I would strongly recommend if you are looking for a pleasant stay in Ostia.

Exceptional

The property is in a typical 1930’s building. It is full of character. It has original ceiling plasterwork and tiles. It is in very good order throughout. Everything you need to make your stay luxurious. The location is excellent. It is right beside the beach, just two minutes, you can see the sea from the balcony. It is also two minutes from the main centre for restaurants. We tried four and they were all excellent and reasonably priced even with the pound being so low. The restaurants are in a lively town square where the Italians promenade in the evening. The marina is a a twenty minute walk along the shore and is also lively and interesting. We visited Ostia Antica for a day which was amazing. It is a short bus ride away. The free beaches are lovely and so close to the property.

La casa vacanze è splendida, pulitissima e curata in ogni dettaglio. Posizione ideale, silenziosa ma comoda a tutto. Host disponibilissimo e attento, ci ha fatti sentire davvero a casa. Abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo gli spazi ampi, il comfort dei letti e l’atmosfera accogliente. Torneremo sicuramente! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Ottimo soggiorno, tornerò sicuramente

Tutto perfetto, struttura molto accogliente e facile da trovare, proprietari molto disponibili e celeri nelle risposte e check in seguito passo passo in tutto. Struttura pulita e molto vicina al mare, intorno ci sono tutti i servizi necessari. Parcheggi gratuiti intorno alla struttura. In cucina c’è tutto il necessario, e a livello di riscaldamento si sta molto bene.

Tutto a posto, non c’è l’ascensore come segnalato nella descrizione ma le scale non sono per niente di quelle scomode, si salgono molto facilmente.

Séjour assez confortable et pratique en arrivant de l’aéroport

Arrivée pratique tard dans la nuit, avec indications très claires pour trouver les clés. Lits assez confortables. Le propriétaire a été arrangeant suite à un problème rencontré.

Pas de petit équipement de base( savon, éponge,produit vaisselle, sacs poubelle, torchons). Problème d’évacuation avec la douche et coupure d’eau indépendante de la volonté du propriétaire.
