Great location - close to the Vatican City and if you don’t mind a bit of a walk about half an hour away from most major sightseeing attractions in Rome. Host was very friendly, very informative on arrival. Room had that Roman charm to it, I booked the single room with the bathroom located outside the room, I didn’t mind this as I was still grateful to have my own space. Simple breakfast provided.

Little to no soundproofing between rooms. Three rooms total, could hear everything going on in the other rooms. Unfortunately I couldn’t wear ear plugs as I needed to set alarms for early bookings. Host sets up breakfast the night before - one night he was doing this at 10:30pm until past 11pm, could hear absolutely everything. Also one day my room was made up which I was grateful for, however on returning after being out for the day found that my suitcase had been closed up and moved - quite disconcerting as a solo traveller to find personal belongings not as you left them, especially as I am a tidy person and the suitcase was in no way obstructing anything/in the way of anything. Would have loved more fresh food for breakfast rather than pre packaged items.

The location is great, nice neighbourhood, very close to Vatican City which is great if you want to go there early and miss the queue. I had a very cute single room with everything you need for a few days stay. Simple and tasty breakfast.

The bathroom is outside the room. But actually this is not a problem because you have keys for both rooms.

It was quirky, authentic, central, easy to walk to Vatican etc.

The host and his brother are very nice and very helpful - really. There's a good atmosphere there. You're a stone-throw away from Vatican. Very clean.

The street outside the window is very noisy (despite a good window). Little sound insulation between the rooms as well. No water pressure in the shower and tap. The private bathroom of room 2 is not in the room but in the corridor that everyone uses.
