Pleasant stay.

Property was well equipped and staff were helpful Room was very good - clean, very comfortable bed and extremely spacious. Offset by small bathroom with lukewarm water. Breakfast was excellent. Very imaginative, good quality and plentiful.

For me, the downstairs area was too cluttered and a bit precious. But, I am sure it appeals to others. Bed linen was scratchy Location is a bit off the beaten path. Restaurant at the hotel closed on a Sunday night. Hotel offered a very good alternative. But, was 20 minutes away. Had we known upfront, we probably would have made alternative arrangements

A place to relax

The hotel is located in a very beautiful and quiet area, nonetheless the perfect starting point to explore the Karst region and beyond. Nina and her husband are the best hosts anyone could wish for. Thanks a lot for making our stay so pleasant - also for our dog. We felt very welcome.

You will always come back into the places where you felt good!

The location is really quiet and in the middle of nature. Rooms are clean, cozy and comfortable, with care of details. The brakfast and dinner are excellent and really fresh! The staff is wonderful, Nina and her family have a good vibes and warm heart, we always feel at home! Also, healing practice was an intimate and well handed moment.

Lovely relaxing stay

Very quiet location with lots of quiet well surfaced roads around for biking. Lovely spacious well equipped room, staff all very friendly, delicious evening meal and breakfasts, the former a set 3 course the latter a buffet. Went to great lengths to make sure my wife had lots of dairy free food options. Lots of lounge areas for sitting and relaxing. Secure bicycle storage (owner had a range of vintage bicycles on display).

Really lovely people who made us feel so welcome and at home. Did all they could to help make our stay all it could be with sourcing bikes, dinner bookings and so on. Lovely rooms, thoughtfully and stylishly decorated. Beautiful location, great breakfasts. A thoroughly relaxing place to be.

An amazing place

The whole place is amazing. It is beautifully decorated. The breakfasts are excellent, all freshly prepared and more than you could want. The bed was very comfortable. It was all very relaxing and we slept very peacefully. There are interesting sayings and information all around the room. More than anything Nina and her team made us feel very welcome indeed.

A small charming family hotel

Very well decorated, the atmosphere is very nice. there is a lot of choice for the breakfast, Bio products, a little bit more bread would be nice. For people who want to have a fresh swim, there is a swimming pool available until 18:30. We had a wine tastery and an absolutely delicious dinner with fantastic wines, with the neighbor. it was an amazing evening, certainly our best evening in Slovenia!

The bed was very uncomfortable and very hard, pillows also. In the hotel book in the room , there is a long list of all the rules, what we are not allowed to do and the penalties which goes with it. There is nothing else in the small village except the hotel, zero activity ( except wine ). they propose a dinner some days but it is at 17:00. We needed some help but nobody ever answered the 2 telephone number they gave, difficult to have contact out of office times.

Schumanns' lovely stay at Biohotel StDaniel

We loved the food and the lovely interior design. Nina, the host and her family are very kind and helpful and their dogs are cute. :) We also liked the new experiences we learned, for example the evening routine with the solfeggio fork. :)

A bug screen on the terrace door might be a good idea.

A night in Karst

Beautifully designed with thoughtful details, very friendly staff, good value for money, great breakfast, beautiful pool.

Nothing to dislike about the propriety itself. A minor gripe would be the Tuesday dinner at the nearby farm. The dinner takes place in a beautiful outdoor setting. The food is very tasty and the host friendly, however it is perhaps too centered around the host selling his wines.

Wonderful place to stay, relax and eat!

Simply everything! You need to go there and experience this unique place on your own. Amazing hosts (many thanks to Nina and Miran and their inspiring way of life), delicious food (tasty breakfast and a fantastic four-course dinner in the evening - we ordered vegetarian which was really really good), great vines (Miran knows them very well and recommends them), cosy room, nice pool and many things to do around the hotel. Definitely a brilliant place to stay if you visit the beautiful Vipava Valley. We rented bikes for our whole stay to experience the area around St. Daniel because there are so many things to do and see there.

Večerja je bila okusna, zajtrk je bil vredu.

Hotel je sicer lepo prenovljen, vendar ima kar nekaj pomanjkljivosti, ki so naju glede na ceno precej razočarale. V kopalnici je nameščena posebna »varčevalna« prha, ki brez kakršnegakoli opozorila med tuširanjem preneha dovajati vodo in ne veš, kdaj ali če jo boš dobil nazaj in se lahko do konca stuširal. Razumem varčnost vode, vendar za tako ceno je to popolnoma nedopustno. V sobi sva dobila umazane odeje, naslednji dan sva jih namenoma postavila tako, da je bil madež viden, vendar so bile po pospravljanju sobe preprosto znova postlane na posteljo. Poleg tega nad posteljo praktično ni bilo osvetlitve, zato je bilo branje skoraj nemogoče. V kopalnici se je ob določenih urah pojavljal tudi močan vonj po kanalizaciji. Ko sva prišla, sva bila brez "opozorila" nastanjena v drugačno sobo, kot sva jo rezervirala - res, da je bila ta, ki sva jo dobila, večja, vendar je imela notri drugačno pohištvo od oglaševanega, ki je delovalo precej "random" ni pasalo v tematiko ostalega interierja. Zajtrk je bil nekoliko skromen in definitivno ne tako pester, kot ga oglašujejo na fotografijah. Na vsaki mizi v jedilnici so imeli razstavljeno priznanje za "One of 3 best organic restaurants in Europe", ki so ga dobili leta 2024, vendar so čez letnico samo nalepili listek, na katerega so napisali 2025?! Zelo sumljivo in morda celo sporno? Poleg tega je bilo v jedilnici polno kičastih dekoracij, ki jih ni moč videti na oglaševanih fotografijah in nekoliko pokvarijo vtis, ki ga pričakuješ, ki je domač/kraški/rustikalen. Cena za drugo polovico decembra (več kot 130 € na noč) je bila precej visoka. Res je, da sva se zanjo odločila sama, vendar sva zato pričakovala nadstandard, ki ga žal nisva dobila. Ob odhodu naju niso vprašali po vtisih ali zadovoljstvu z bivanjem.

Mirna lokacija v bližini prečudovitega Štanjela, lepo urejen hotel in vse podrobnosti ter malenkosti ki veliko štejejo, predvsem ta spiritualni pridih, hrana je bila dobra, domače, lokalno in okusno, silvestrska večerja še posebaj, prav tako vsi prijazni in ustrežljivi zaposleni. Wellness je prav posebno doživetje oz. pravi ritual.
