Brittany Vacation Rental

We were met by Yves, who is the nicest person to deal with, speaking perfect English, and even coming to see us off at 5:30 am. The house is a home away from home, where, if I had wanted to, I could have baked a cake or cooked a full roast dinner.

No fault of the owner, but the property is an 1800's building and therefore had its quirks. Be aware that the town is a quiet place, so if you want a bustling market town, this is not it.

We just finished 4 perfect weeks at Geoff's wonderful apartment. It was roomy, clean, exceedingly comfortable and fitted with the most modern fixtures and appliances. Everything worked great. The kitchen was the best equipped and supplied kitchen we have experienced in almost two decades of renting and exchanging homes. Plomelin is a lovely village with many kilometers of walking trails, including along the banks of the beautiful Odet River. It is a short walk to the supermarket, bakery and butcher. It is a 20 minute bus ride to Quimper and less by car. All of Finistere is easily accessible from Plomelin.

L’emplacement idéal nous a permis de sillonner toute la région. Confortable (literie au top) et chaleureux logement décoré avec goût. Tout le nécessaire est là avec machine à laver, sèche linge… et on se sent comme à la maison. Une cuisine toute équipée (même des Tupperware pour stocker les restes). Yves nous a très bien accueilli et la communication avec le propriétaire était parfaite.
