South Lakes Townhouse with Sauna

A wonderful historic town house right in the centre of town. Very well equipped kitchen, bedrooms, lots of books in the library. Light sleepers should choose the back bedroom because of some traffic noise. Loved the sun lounge and sauna. The host could not have been more helpful, esp with the parking. Could do with an additonal loo, as the only one is right on the top floor. We will certainly be back.

We liked everything, from the moment you enter the house you get an immediate feel of the history of the building, from modern to past furnishings, it just oozes quirkiness and character, we loved the drawing room, comfortable and relaxing. The bedrooms are all nicely equipped with comfortable beds, nice linen and plenty of storage space. The added bonus was the sauna which was a relaxing treat after a good long walk on the hills. All in all a great 4-night stay, I must also mention how easy it was to park, we parked up Lightburn Road (a 5-minute walk) after unloading the car right outside the house. There were spaces nearer to the house later on in the day. The location is great, literally minutes from the town centre which has everything. Communication with Lesley was excellent with a comprehensive information pack sent to us in advance.

Everything! The history, the decoration, an absolute home from home. Bit of quirky property which We love. The space was ample, lots of space as there was 2 adults and a child. We used every room and the sauna was a fabulous bonus.
