Al Cedro

Ens ha agradat la situació, está al cor Trastevere que és un barri amb molt d'encant, molt moviment i animat. Pots anar a peu caminant 30 minuts a molts grans monuments i museus. També está molt net.

L'aire condicionat no és amb aparell extern, hi ha dos aparells de l'estil pingüino que fan bastant soroll i amb la calor que ha fet havíem de triar entre soroll o calor extrema. També dir que la cuina, el lavabo, les portes són per persones petitones, si els clients son molt corpulents, segur que tenen problemes per cuinar o dutxar-se.

Nice location — in a small alley near the center of Trastevere, safe and convenient, close to most attractions. There is a washing machine, which is perfect if you’re travelling long‑term and need to do laundry.

The shower space is very small and uncomfortable. The kitchen ceiling is low, so you have to bend down to wash the dishes. The rubbish bin area is a bit far — we stayed for 4 nights and had to take out the trash twice.

Appartement très confortable, très bien situé dans le cœur de Trastevere, qui répondait à tous nos besoins. Communication avec l'hôte très bien. Je recommande à tous qui souhaitent un pied à terre dans Trastevere.

We enjoyed our stay at Al Cedro, particularly because of the great location in Rome, which made it easy to explore the city. The apartment was a good size and having the extra space was appreciated, especially as we were travelling for several months and needed room to spread out. The washing machine was a great addition and very useful given the amount of laundry we had during our trip. The host was generally very responsive and helpful when we needed assistance.

There were a number of areas that could be improved. The apartment does not offer on-site luggage storage, and there was no flexibility for early check-in or late check-out, which made managing our luggage more difficult. The bathroom was only stocked with body wash, with no shampoo or conditioner provided. The air conditioning was also a major issue. Despite running it continuously for four days on full blast, the room temperature remained around 26°C, which was uncomfortable after returning from days in 40°C heat. The apartment became so warm that we had to sleep without blankets and with minimal clothing to stay comfortable. There were also some maintenance issues during our stay. The front door lock was not properly aligned, meaning we had to push and pull the door to get it open. When we first arrived, the fridge was unplugged and appeared to have leaked water onto the floor and into the power board supplying other kitchen appliances, including the washing machine. This caused the power to trip whenever we tried to use the washing machine or kettle, and it took around 24 hours to resolve. Finally, the listing did not clearly mention that the apartment was accessed via stairs with no lift. This was challenging with five pieces of luggage, particularly as we were travelling for an extended period.
