Location just 3 minutes walk from the main piazza in town. So it is convenient but away from people noise, and in the old town which is just beautiful. As the host pointed out you only need to walk <1 minute to one end of the street to watch the sunset, and <1 minute to the other end of the street to watch the sunrise. The bed was too comfortable for us to take advantage of the latter.
The host was very accommodating. She researched and provided key information for our onward journey, provided good local knowledge where to eat. So she was there when needed and left us alone otherwise.
The accommodation itself was spacious, air conditioned, and had everything you need in a kitchen to self cater. We only used the washing machine.
I had a car and filtered my choices on booking.com to include parking. This accommodation does NOT have parking. I got myself into all sorts of bother getting in/out to drop the luggage. In truth parking was easily found some 300m away(outside the walls of the old town). We easily walked our luggage out the day we left. Don’t let this deter you from staying here.

Die Unterkunft ist perfekt gelegen inmitten der Altstadt von Alghero! Schöne, authentische Seitengasse. Alles ist zu Fuß erreichbar und wer mit dem PKW anreist, kann auf einem nahegelegenen, großen Parkplatz einen kostenfreien Parkplatz ergattern (wir waren außerhalb der Saison dort). Gastgeberin Emanuela ist eine herzensgute Dame und war jederzeit gut zu erreichen. Check-in und Check-out problemlos möglich.
Kein direkter Kritikpunkt, aber es sollte einem bewusst sein, dass Altstadtgeräusche unumgänglich sind. Das Leben von Alghero spielt sich vor der Tür ab, was schön und ideal ist für diese Unterkunft!

Such a nice apartment. Right in the centre of the old town. Clean and comfortable bed. Quiet and had air conditioning (you need it August). Host was lovely.
