Wifi wasn’t working

The property is very conveniently located, with a good selection of local shops, restaurants, and bars within easy reach. This made exploring the surrounding area straightforward and was undoubtedly one of the strongest aspects of the stay.

Unfortunately, several significant issues detracted from the overall experience. The most concerning issue was the apartment allocation. We were assigned accommodation on the fourth floor despite travelling with my parents, both of whom have important mobility and health considerations. My father is recovering from knee reconstruction surgery, while my mother has a heart condition. In these circumstances, being placed on such a high floor created an unnecessary and avoidable difficulty. I strongly believe that disclosed mobility requirements or relevant medical conditions should be prioritised when allocating apartments. Where lower-floor accommodation is available, every reasonable effort should be made to assign it to guests for whom stairs or repeated climbing may present a genuine physical challenge. This should be regarded as an important aspect of accessibility and guest care rather than simply a matter of convenience. There were also several maintenance and amenity issues. The Wi-Fi was completely non-functional throughout our stay, which is a significant shortcoming given that reliable internet access is now a basic expectation. The apartment itself would also benefit from closer attention to maintenance and refurbishment. Wallpaper was visibly peeling from the walls in places, which gave parts of the accommodation a somewhat neglected appearance. Basic essentials were also inadequately stocked. In particular, there was insufficient toilet paper provided. While this is a relatively minor and inexpensive issue to resolve, it should be covered as part of a proper pre-arrival housekeeping check.
