We found an excellent restaurant in Kounoupidiana, and a very good bar/restaurant near the apartment. There is a good bus service to the centre of Chania. Sometimes every 20 minutes. No Chania parking problems! There are shops and supermarkets nearby. The host/manager was excellent: responding immediately to any need or problem.
The location is much more urban than the photos of views suggest. But its a short drive to rural areas and beaches.

Planty of space
Big cockroach in the bedroom. No dust bin, only plastic bags. We could not accommodate at 12:00 but earliest at 14:30
