Nestling in the Nantlle Valley, surrounded by dramatic, steep hillsides and watched over by Snowdon, Tan Meredydd is a superbly located holiday cottage for outdoor pursuit enthusiasts. Snowdonia is renowned for its scenic, mountainous beauty and the Nantlle Valley has so much to offer from gentle walks to more challenging ridges, and there's also the challenge of Snowdon itself!

"There is a palpable sense of peace and tranquility that is almost unimaginable in this former quarry workers cottage in the stunning Nantlle Valley."
Mountains, forests, rivers, lakes, beaches, historic towns, are all so easily accessible from Tan Meredydd in addition to the attractions of The Welsh Highland Railway, Caernarfon Castle, Zip World and Bounce Below to name just a few.
This charming holiday cottage has been sympathetically restored and is in keeping with its surroundings. The wood burning stove in the sitting room and the wood-burning range in the kitchen/diner plus storage heaters make Tan Meredydd an all-year-round destination.

Amenities: Night storage heaters with wood burning stove. Electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge with ice box, microwave, wood burning range oven. TV, Blue ray DVD, DAB radio, good selection of DVD's. Off road parking for 3 cars. Enclosed lawn with large patio and garden furniture. Pubs, shop and restaurants 4 miles. Private water supply from a spring using a reverse UV osmosis system and is safe to drink. Whilst this property does not allow pets is is not suitable for guests with pet allergies. Town: Mynydd Drws y Coed is set on the Nantlle Ridge, part of the Snowdonia National Park. Very popular with climbers and scramblers alike, although you do need a good head for heights. The valley below is ideal for cycling and walking if you don't fancy the heady heights of the ridge.
