If you’re looking for a traditional terraced Victorian holiday cottage, then look no further!17 Victoria Terrace - Perthi is a comfortable place to stay when wanting to explore all that the Snowdonia National Park has to offer! Located in the idyllic Nantlle Valley overlooking a beautiful lake, this is a peaceful retreat.This characterful holiday cottage has a traditionally decorated sitting room/dining room. There’s a gas fire with a beautiful slate surround- quite the talking piece-as well as a TV and DVD player and dining table.

There is a well-equipped kitchen with fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine, electric cooker, perfect for whipping up a homemade meal after a full day of adventuring, or relaxing. Also on the ground floor is a shower room, with loo, shower, wash hand basin.

Upstairs are three bedrooms all together - one double bedroom, one twin bedroom with two single beds, and a further single bedroom.Each room contains comfortable beds with plenty of space for storing clothes.

Venture outside to find an enclosed garden laid to lawn, perfect for the children to play outside in the sunshine. There is a seating area which is ideal for a spot of brunch, or even a drink on a sunny summer afternoon.Look out of the quirky traditional outdoor loo!

The cottage also boasts private access to Nantlle Lake, just a short stroll through farmland, with the possibility of sailing, kayaking, canoeing, trout and salmon fishing.Whether you’re more of a coastal or mountain explorer, you’ll love the setting of this fab holiday cottage.Walkers, cyclists, climbers or kayakers - you will all be happy here!It’s also ideal for a more relaxed break in peaceful surroundings.There’s even a Trigonos yoga/mindfulness retreat close by.

Attractions such as the Welsh Highland Railway or Pant Du Vineyard are close by.Take the car to Beddgelert and experience a popular Welsh village with it’s sweet bridge spanning the banks of the river.

The owner of the cottage lives just next door, and although you’ll be given complete privacy whilst on your holiday, your family could collect fresh eggs from the chickens and feed lambs - fantastic for the little ones!

Region: Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Town: The lovely quiet village of Penygroes is situated around six miles from the historic castle town of Caernarfon, bordering the Snowdonia National Park with beautiful scenic walks and mountain views easily accessible. A good selection of shops, cafes and pubs are available in the village and the wider local area is full of restaurants and activities such as golfing, swimming, tennis, surfing and horse riding to name but a few. Plas Dinas Country House is also nearby, which is home to some great history as well as The Gun Room restaurant. The beaches on Anglesey and the Llyn Peninsula can be reached in about half an hour, while the beach at Dinas Dinlle is just a 10-minute drive away. Nearby, Caernarfon is home to Caernarfon Castle, which is well worth a visit, with further shops and cafes available, as well as steam train trips. Portmeirion is also a short distance away, featured in the TV series ‘The Prisoner’. Just 8 miles away is the Welsh Heritage centre which has a licensed cafe at Gant Nwrtheyrn with magnificent sea views from it's decked dining area.
Beddgellert is a very attractive village, surrounded by the beautiful Snowdonia National Park, with a fabulous arts and craft shop, and several pubs. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
